Looking for Turbo Buick owners in Colorado

Hey guys I am a member of a car club in the Colorado Springs CO area and on Saturday the 7th of July our club is having a show and I plan on having all three of my hotairs there for it. I have a few other friends in town with Turbo Regals that said they would try and come as well. I would like to invite all of you that live near by to come join us to see how many Turbo Buicks we can have together. The show runs from 4-8PM at the Garden of the Gods Visitor Center which is located at 1805 N. 30th street here in the Springs and it is free. We have a door prize drawing at the end with some pretty neat prizes, and then following that we go on a couple miles cruise. Please let me know if you can make it so I know how many spots to save so we can all be lined up together. Hope to see some of you there. Dusty

I picked the car up last Friday and took it in Monday for a re-torque of the heads. I have about 150 miles on the motor since the rebuild. I plan on driving another 350 miles or so and then install Razor's alky kit.

Whatever happened to the Pueblo show?

They had drag racing, a group of Buick guys came up from Albuquerque. Used to be a guy in Colo. named MilehighGN had a nice ride. Garden of the Gods is an awesome place to have a show. Should be some great pictures.

Sorry I couldn't make the show - family things. How was it?

Abomb - I see a few GNs at Bandimere but not many - most times when I was there on a test and tune Wedneday I was the only TR around. After I get another 200 miles or so on the motor I will probably head to the track and get the new motor tuned up.

The Colorado club moved the race to Douglas Wyoming 2 years ago. I miss going to Pueblo and seeing all of the New Mexico guys. I haven't talked with MileHiGN (aka Lance Young) in a couple of years. As far as I know he still has his car but he must have other interests or priorities now.

It was pretty good. We had 4 GN's there 2 TTA's and one T-Type. Walt with a TTA posted up some pics he took of it over in the TTA section under looking for TTA owners in Colorado.
