Why no CAT??You do know all these cranks were forged overseas in the same place(Eagle,SCAT,and CAT) and CAT did the finish work in the USA, Eagle and Scat put there name on CAT's work.

I mentioned the CAT stuff to my machine shop and the guy said that the quality was sub-par, required to much to clean them up and that I would be better off spending the money on a better unit. He was basically refusing to use CAT stuff. Since he's doing machine work for me dirt cheap I suppose I need to make his job as easy as possible-machinist happy=me happy

These cranks were not all the same. At least the Cat and Eagle were different in machining and hardness as we have used many of both.

Eagle did 2 special runs of external balance cranks just for our company.
