I installed my Alky kit a little over a year ago, and it has about 1500 miles of driving and a dozen trips to the track. I an on my 4th 5 gallon can of meth. Yesterday before leaving for the track I noticed a drop of meth on the floor just below the pump after a short drive. The kit is installed exactly as the instructions recommend. I found that 2 of the Allen screws around the pump were a full turn loose maybe more! This was the source of the leak so I snugged them all down. The other screws were not snug either?

My question is can I safely remove them individually and add a drop of red loc tite with out causing any problem?
With meth in the pump?

I went 60 miles to the track, made 5 passes and back home without any leaking last night.

Thanks

Yes.

I don't know if loctite will do much in plastic but I guess it's worth a shot.

Use the blue so it can be dis-assembled in the future. Red makes it almost impossible in the event it needs a rebuild. I did the red to pumps back in 2004.. what a nightmare to dis-assemble them when they came in. Thats when the use of flat SS washers and split lock washers started.
