Lost and Confused Please Help

Ok I been looking around forums and such. My buddy has a 2000 firebird, It has the 3.8 V6 in it, its a Auto. it has less then 72000 miles on it. He is looking at putting a Turbo on it and we cant find anything about it anywhere.. if you could give me some pointers in the directions on around how much and where to look would be very help full. Thanks

To my knowledge, there currently is no one making a under the hood single turbo kit for the V6 F-bodies. However, he could run an STS rear mounted turbo kit for sure. That would be a no brainer. Best to have him give them a call to work out his turbo requirements as the kits they sell for the LS1 equipped vehicles could be a little bit too big, then again, it might be ok depending on your friends hp goals.

Here is another company that offers turbo setups for 3800 series. I worked closely with Scott for 3 years to help perfect their turbo setup on their race car.

i was going to buy a 3800 firebird for this sole purpose. I talked to matt @ stattama who is the current world record fwd SII holder about building a kit and he said he would. Cost would be in between 5-6k depending on what you want. Let me know if you need more info, i think i saved his emails
