I had an 87 GN that had bad rust in the t-tops. My plan was to restore it, so I bought a ton of parts and then never went anywhere with the resto. I have the following items for sale:

1) Stainless t-top restoration kit from Gbodyparts.com - paid $600... still in box, never installed.

2) Complete set of t-top weatherstrips... doors, tops, vibration seals etc... also from gbody... new in the boxes, never installed, paid over $200.

3) Original factory t-top assemblies, includiing the vinyl storage bags for the trunk.

I need to sell this stuff to finance another restoration, so give me a call at 352-219-3110 (Gainesville, FL) and make me an offer on any or all of it.

Thanks!

Todd Johnson

Update:

Someone just bought all the seals so those are unavailable, however, in the process of getting those out of the shop I found that I also bought a pair of new grey replacement interior plastics for the T-tops themselves. These are the plastic trim pieces that come out with the t-tops when you remove them for storage. They are attached behind the latch. Gbody Parts sells them for $90/pair which is where I got them from new about a year or so ago.

The bags sell for $40 each new. These are not new. They came with the car. They have no rips or damage. The outside vinyl can be cleaned and prettied up with some ArmorAll. The interior 'fleece' has some dirt and stains, but nothing major. I'll take detailed pics tomorrow when I have daylight and post them. I'd take $40 for the pair.

Another thought... I could run em through a cold wash and hang em dry to see how clean the fleece comes.

Yes, they do. I just pulled them out of the shop and am running them through a gentle cold cycle in the washer. Will ArmorAll them tomorrow and take pics.

no, they're in too good a condition for me to have to eat the shipping. $40 plus shipping. I'm in Gainesville, so it shouldn't be too painful for ya ;-)

Update:

The grey plastic T-top trim pieces are sold.

Remaining items:

1) Complete stainless steel T-top rebuild kit - BRAND NEW, NEVER INSTALLED - paid $600 plus shipping from Gbodypartsdotcom. Will take $400 ($415 if paying via Paypal) plus shipping.

2) Original equipment T-top assemblies, driver and passenger sides, including undamaged glass, working locks and latches as well as the latch hardware that connects to the body to which the T-tops attach. Looking to get $250 (Paypal $259) for the pair plus shipping.

I will consider reasonable offers.

Update:

I went to pull the T-top kit out of the shop for a photo and discovered I have a second set of upper weatherstrips. These are the rubber seals that go between the T-top and the top of the door window glass. They sell at Gbodyparts for $55 a piece. I have both left and right, brand spanking new and sealed in the original GM packages. I'll take $70 for the pair plus shipping.

I'm afraid that if I split it up, I'll be stuck with parts I will never use and never be able to sell. I want to keep them together as a set just like I bought em. Sorry :)

Updated pic:

All pieces are provided, including the rear components which I laid in the wrong place when I took the pic.
