Lots of oil from oil breather on new rebuild ???

Did I understand correctly that I can block off the PCV valve with no other ill effects other than EPA ? I get a lot of oil in the plenum thru my PCV. It really seems excessive. No check valve hear. I would like to eliminate the "oil in the plenum" problem.

Tim, a while back there was some pretty informative discussion concerning crankcase ventilation & the importance of the pcv valve. Maybe reading it will help you decide if it is important or not. HTH
