I thought I read in Kirban's Guide to 1986-1987 Turbo Regals about the available options on Limiteds. If memory serves I believe Kirban dedicated a whole chapter to the Turbo Regal Limited.

I know the cornering lamps was an option and have seen many photos of Limiteds with them. I haven't seen one photo of a Limited with opera lamps though.

Wow, that's one cool looking car. Wish the photo was larger and/or more detailed.

I'd sure like to get a look at the option tag in the trunk.

Awesome, glad you posted on both threads chuck!

how long ago was that car on ebay, it sure does look good with that dark grey paint.

i KNEW i had seen one, Kirban dont know squat:p

Obviously that photo shows what looks like opera lamps on a Turbo Limited. That said it's just a photo and the car can't be inspected or authenticated.

IF these cars are around I'll have my heart set on one with factory leather interior, opera lamps, cornering lamps and the full chrome package!

Here's the link to the auction:

Someone got a killer deal on a sweet car.

I like the obscure and uniquely optioned Turbo T's and have been following them for a long time. The 2-tone Designers' Series paint schemes are my favorite.

That's a pretty tough request no matter what color you're looking for. To find a car with all those things together would be a rare gem indeed! They are out there!!!!!!!!!!! :D

WOW!

This is ONE RARE CAR! Not that I have a spare $8,000 lying around but I could have mustered it up had I known this was for sale!

I will type the options as they appear on the original invoice. They are as follows: electric door locks, soft ray tinited glass, power windows, electric trunk lock release, door edge guards, 2-speed windshield wiper/delay, silver astroof, landau top- hvy pad- dark gray, electric rear window defogger, air conditioner, door courtesy + warning lights, coach lamps, front seat reading lamps, lighted visor vanity mirror pass side, body color mirrors- left & right remote, limited-slip differential, electronic cruise control, engine -3.8 litre (231 cio) sfi turbocharged V6 w/intercooler, auto trans w/overdrive, tilt steering, tungsten halogen headlamps, twilight sentinel headlamp control, corning lights,

Love that creme colored Regal!!! I always go for the ones that are different. ;)

On Canadian cars the option code for opera lamps is

C93 Lamp Opera - Exterior

T87 Lamp Cornering

C04 Vinyl Padded Roof Rear Half (Landau)

My Grandpa cruiser has all that stuff.:D

Post a close-up pic of that bad boy!

Upon further investigation, you could get the coach lamps on both Landau roof styles but not t-tops.

Nice find Bryan! They're coming out of the woodwork now.

Those pics don't do that color any justice.

I'm actively in the market for a 1987 T Limited with low miles, coach lamps....loaded.

If anyone knows of one for sale send'em my way!

I've looked high and low and found this one. It has 8,600 original miles and a *few* modest underhood mods. It'll come with the original wheels which I prefer. I'll put the emblems back in their exact spots cuz I'm anal like that. Nothing like a super-sleeper that does low 12's without batting an eye. ;)
