I noticed that my low alky light doesnt turn on, I double checed the connections and had a mechanic check them aswell and everything is connected right, what else could it be? Any help would be great. Oh I run razors kit.

low level

Call razor monday morning. Its already late sunday.

yeah, Its just been bugging me for a while, Ill see what everyone hear has to say before bothering Julio.

is this a new system ??? did it work before and just stop working ??

My float hangs up occasionally, I just do visuals all the time and do not depend much on the light.

Three possibilities.

Sensor on tank is bad, LED is bad, wiring issue.

First test, turn ignition "ON"... then ground the tan wire leading from the tank, strip a little insulation off.. and jump ground to it. If it turns on... then the problem lies with the float/its connections. If it doesnt... then your problem is inside the vehicle.

Another way is to use a multimeter and see if the tan wire has 12 volts or zero volts when probed. When the tank has liquid, the tan wire will show 12 volts. When the tank is empty, the tan wire will show zero volts.

Simple circuit.. LED has power on one leg, the other leg goes to the float. The float completes the ground path.

One more possibility.. the float mechanism is either stuck or broken off.

Do the above grounding the tan wire test..
