hey guys after i got the MAF and translator installed i finally got to drive the car tonight. while i was out i noticed a couple things other then the fact the car loves this setup. my BLM's at idle are about 105 which is alot lower then it used to be. the other thing is i have the BLM lock at 128 in my chip but i noticed now at WOT teh blm's go up to about 109 and that is it. a freind was behind me ans said some black smoke was coming out. now i have the dip set to 3.5 ls1 with no change since it runs best on htere and i have the fule set to no change. what oculd be causing this?? i have not touched the FP at all. any ideas on this? i almsot dont want to touch it since hte car runs the best it ever has right now....thanks guys

Exactly what MAF are you running? If you have it set on the 3.5's "zero" settting that would be position 3 on the MAF BASE dial, right? Is that where you have it?

Sorry, my mistake. I hadn't had enough coffe yet when I replied.

Try setting the MAF BASE to "2". But remember, you must reset the ECM when making such a change, and then get the car out on a 5-10 mile drive around on surface streets to get it all "learned" back in. See what that does to your BLM's.
