low boost

i need some help guys! my 89 tta isn't making much boost! its only making about 10lbs. so i check for exhaust leaks none, also replaced intercooler hoses and by past boost control by taking vacuum line off turbo, straight to waste gate and made no differnce.I also checked to see if the puck was getting stuck, and it moves freely.
Iv got a turbo tweak chip 42lbs injectors a P 51 turbo 3 inch down pipe alky control also any help would rock!

Was it running low boost before you changed anything?

Or did this just start happening?

And running the vacuum line tuner style from compressor cover to wastegate only gave 10psi?

Did you shorten up the wastegate actuator rod when you ran the single hose? The stock wastegate actuator should only net 10-12psi if it's adjusted with no preload.

Is it adjustable?

Also, in situations like this, my process of elimination says to check your intercooler hoses. Look for one that might have popped loose or maybe has a loose clamp. Then double check all those clamps. If you have zero exhaust leaks pre-turbo and all the hoses and clamps are good, then I would start to suspect the wastegate and turbo.
Just a couple of thoughts.

ya I did try making the waste gate rod longer shorter set up tuner style made no differnace. And I went and check intercooler hose and replaced them with new ones, no change. So I'm curious if its the waste gate or the turbo? And it just happened I had the trans rebuild and the car didn't run for about 6 or 8 months so when I got the trans back in I noticed it wasn't making boost.

So how often or how likley is it for ur turbo to just go bad and not make boost? i check to see if the turbo had play in and out and it doesn't it does have a little side to side but not enought that its making contact anywhere.

Well iv got some more info lets see if someone can shead some light on my problem.. I was looking at my BL reading on my scan master i noticed there in the low 100s like 120 110. my cross counts are low as well and i got a 44 code i replaced the O2 and o2 readings are low at idel like 400 and under the little boost i get it shoots up to 750 then drops all the way to like 300. Could i have a fuel problem thats causing my low boost?
