It's back, the car we all know, the one that keeps changing hands and ends up on eBay time & time again...

eBay Motors: Buick : Regal (item 290099885601 end time Apr-08-07 19:00:00 PDT)

The problem is have is the "less than 40 made" comment.

That's total BS. He states he has proof. Well I have my proof, it's called experience...

I have owned several of these cars and have been well aware of their existence for 20 years. Have seen hundreds for sale and on the road alone myself. There were 5 for sale in AutoTrader last summer alone within a 300 mile range of my area. It is common knowledge in the Buick G-Body Community there are thousands of these cars, not 40. It's a fraudulent statement.

Does anyone here like Kirban have the production numbers on the V8 T's?

Isnt that a non a/c heater box too ? and looks like a newer alternator...

It is a NO a/c, crank window stripo car. You could have a MINT car for less money than restoring a rough one, body work, trim, weatherstripping, etc. & nice paint isn't cheap.

If they are so rare I am in big trouble, I converted 1 and changing another to a SBC;)

What was it bid up to before? Wasnt it like 14,800 in the past?

It needs a big turbo alright!

I guess then that the V8 t-top one I parted out last summer was then 1 of what? 4? Oooops!

According to the facts and figures book, the Y56(T package) could be ordered for LV2. 8547 made with Y56 package in 1987

The car should be recognized as an original, only in the fact it (may) be like new. That alone is rare for a 20 year old vehicle.

Take it for what it is I guess......
