I did use the metal tool, after wiggling and pulling it finally came out. What I did find was the thin snap ring that holds the low/reverse clutches in was not engaged in the grooves. I also found the ring that goes on the low/reverse piston was off and laying on top of the output shaft. Do you know what holds the ring in place, is it just held in the piston groove by the tension? How could the snap ring come out of the grooves? I did notice after taking the pan off that that was allot of movement in the low/reverse clutches so that explains it. Thanks
