low/reverse clutch pack clearance

I bought Chris's book (which is great ) but I don't see a clearance for low and reverse. It says it is only for manual low, and reverse, but I like using manual low. My old clutchs & steel where burned, I don't know if that was from other problems I had last time I rebuilt, before the bible,er book, or from the .125ish clearance I have. Ron

They are normally pretty loose. The clearance really isn't important since you are not moving when you put it in reverse or low.
