I want to lower my car a couple inches, will someone list all of my options for lowering my car rather cheaply, and not losing comfortable driving. My brother's truck used to sit 3 inches off of the ground, but before he notched it, the thing hurt my back to drive. I dont want that in my car, i want a good ride, just lowered : )

And i figure the limit would be about $300

Thanks, Denny

Eibach springs will give you a good 1.5" drop. Combined with a good set of shocks, your ride will still be awesome!

I have eibachs on my 2+2 grand prix and the ride and handling are awesome. Drop spindles are good for boulevard posers, but the stock spring's low rate will allow the tires to contact the inner fenderwheels. If you are cheap, buy a set of 600Lb Moog springs and cut coils until its about 1 to 1/2" higher than you like and it will settle to about perfect. Moogs can be had at autoparts stores for $50 to $65 a pair.

Be carefull how low you go with coils .I went 2.5 inches now my stock downpipe lays across my passenger side upper control arm.Im going to go with 2 inch spindles to get my control arms back to stock position...

What have you heard bad about Eibach springs? I've used them in all kinds of cars from BMW's, LS-1 Camaros, Nissans, my GN and have never, ever had a single problem with them.
