LS1/V8 Regal.

Ok not sure were to post this, but ive been wondering. Do the factory v8 regals come with Floor shifters? Instead of the Column shift? Im looking for a v8/v6 shell to do a Turbo V8 swap. Im looking for 500-600hp. And I just need a push in the right direction...
 
It depends on what options it has. Iv'e had two V8 parts cars and they both had column shifters.

It's not a hard swap if you have a column shifter and want to convert it.
 
Ive located a black 84/85 T-type, the wiring harness got burn up from a short but i havent seen how bad is it. What would be cheaper?

- Get a 86/87 ECU and Complete new wiring harness
- 86/87 Turbo 3.8L w/200R4.

- LS1 engine w/4L60e
- LS1 Wiring harness/ECU.
- Plus all the parts needed.


Im trying to decided. Help me LOL
 
Its going to be a toss up. I love the LS motors. They are extremely easy to work on and the aftermarket for them is booming. Even though...you cant go run with the LC2. Only down side is that it is a 20+ year old system and it seems that the aftermarket for these car is dwindling. Just my .02:cool:
