M&A Repair

Got a StageII with M&A. Pulled the heads and got a blown gasket between the two front cylinders on the passenger side. There is head damage between the cylinders. Who do you guys recommend to repair these heads. Also, it had FelPro 1007 with recievers grooves. Would it be better to go with the 1026 or do i have to go back with the 1007's? I really don't like reciever grooves.

Ditto on the 1007's...I've had nothing but problems with them. You might try doing some research on the Cometics...HTH

We just had a set of older M&A's repaired Mike. Let me know if I can help you.

Also, I would go with Cometics. TA Perf has the 4" bore size in stock if that is where you are. If not, they also have 3.8 in various thickness.

What did you have done and where did you get it done at?

We have them repaired by welding, and then machine as required. They are then pressure tested for water leaks. Turn around time is about 2 weeks.
