Update

I got it back together and fired it up last week end. It seemed real tight and the lifters were making noise. After reviewing some posts (on TR.com) on preload, I checked the lash on my lifters. It was at about .080" (should be around .035"). I ordered custom push rods last week and am waiting for them now.

The head work was around $600 for porting. I stayed with the stock valves. My tranny cost me around 2k after the TC and everything. Any pics of this Volvo?

Thats about going rate for the trans and the heads too. The nice thing is everyone is trying these guys out for me, Thank you. It will be great to see how the heads and tranny works out for you.

So far so good. The the ford 8.8 disk rear is going in on friday for the chop. then driveshaft when it gets back. Then paint firewall and put in harness and the computer. 4 Months left I hope I make it.
