I hope this does not get out of hand and kill the USA beef market. I can not blame other nations from banning USA beef, cuz we do the same thing. I ate some beef today. But it can be a little scary.

You guys wouldn't believe what my Christmas gift was for my dad this year. Yep, you guessed it, I bought him a box of one dozen Omaha filet mignon steaks!!!..lol. I ordered them last week and they were delivered yesterday, the day after the Mad Cow story came out...... I swear I must have done something, somewhere, sometime, in a previous life that pissed off the powers that be that run this universe. Maybe I was Hitler, Mussolini, or Pol Pot in a previous life and my karma is coming back to bite me in the ass? It just can't be a coincidence. I know there's nothing wrong with the steaks, hell I'd eat them myself......but still could the timing be any worse? No one suffers from that kind of bad luck and poor timing do they??? I guess they do......

That was my present from my wife for Christmas too.

It really isnt a problem anyway because in order to get the disease you really have to eat the brain or spinal cord of the infected cow.

Lst time I looked, the filets came from a little lower spot.

Still scary though!

It pisses you off when a old dairy cow can cripple the US beef industry.

That's like nobody wanting to buy TR's anymore because a 16 year old ricer bought one, blew it up and it's put on the national news.

If you eat labeled meets you have nothing to worry about. If you like cow brains or ground meat that is best left to your dog, worry.

its really not that big of a deal, just eat the good t-bone steak and you'll be fine

i'd never eat brains to start with, but now theres no way i'd do that.

ground beef for human consumption, no way. Cows ground for pets consumption, you never know. So don't eat your dog.
