If you have a hole in the flex hose from the MAF to the turbo can it make the car run like crap?????? I noticed mine after 17 years of rubbing on the alternator stud has a few holes in it....

Would it be a wise decision to keep the factory ducting or buy a chrome MAF pipe.....I'm still using the factory MAF............

Thanks

After replacing mine once & wrapping both of them with electrical tape toward the end of their life, I finally went the stainless route. Stainless cost very little more than the original flex hose & still is there.
I do, however, blame the solid pipe for taking out my MAF - I went the Translator & LT1 route.
