MAF pipe and where to put sensor??

I am going to install a MAF pipe and open air KN,,,,well there is a sensor that plugs into the stock air box. Air temp sensor maybe


Where are you guys locating that? I thought about making an oval shaped hole in the MAF pipe with a rubber gromet in it and pluging it in there,,,,,,

Give me your experiences please.

Hey Ty, most people (including myself) drill a small hole in the neck of the filter and insert the air temperature sensor there. Just ensure that the hole is smaller than the sensor, so it seals well.

Yes, most of us have drilled a hole in the rubber neck of the K&N and mounted it in there. From an ECM input, it's not the most critical sensor in the car.
