Wasnt sure where to post this but i need help on installing a maf translator. it came with both harnesses but he said i need an adaptor to connect it. need help. If i get it installed what would it run me.

Then you should not need anything. One end plugs in to the maf and the other plugs into the factory harness , where the factory maf was connected.

You need a short adapter that plugs in between the Translator's output plug to the car's maf plug.
Can be gotten from Full Throttle

Interesting, I will post a pic of my translator plus, it does not need anything?

maf trans

yeah can u please post some pics. how much horses will i gain with this. i have 30 injectors, im not sure of the type of chip but i do know it has one. i also have slightly bigger turbo than stock. and kn 3 inch air intake

You will gain hp from tuning the car, the translator won;t help if your tune is way off. Here;s a pic of older translator.

I have a plus in another car,I can't get a pic of it now. That is my spare translator box, I guess it is not a plus. But those are the connectors you need to plug in, should give you an idea what to look for.

I have that same Trans Plus, i guess i just buy either a LT1 male MAF connetion and clip off the stock on,connet the new one.

OR

buy a male LT1 MAF connetions and a female buick MAF connetion from casper's.

Would this work?
