Just as the title says...who has it and is it compatible for street driving? anyone?...

See J Banning's setup-- 10 second ETs and 20 mpg.

To be fair, I do believe he saw gas milage drop off a bit, particularly when not cruising on the highway at a constant mph. I'm sure he'll chime in.

Yep, see my sig.

At a 70 mph cruise and 100 mile trip when I was in Florida for Thanksgiving I recorded 20mpg :) That was with the 72# injectors too :) :)

Although the MaxEffort-R (MAFless setup) is primary designed for a race application (as I'm sure Steve will tell you), it can be made VERY streetable.

Contact Steve and he can answer any other questions. You couldn't ask for better service!

ME-R user here, works great. default values were just about dead-on, only added some cold start fuel. Really nice chip, I like it a lot. Steve is the man. This chip works on cars from 14s up to 9s.

20MPG? hmmmmmm....

20mpg....looks like going to 72#s and MAFless means no more making it from Miami to Georgia on one tank anymore huh? *sigh*

Another ME-R happy customer here...

could not beleive the streetability if we had not put one in our selves.

To elaborate further...

Yes, my mileage "around town" did appear to drop off quite a bit. I don't have any hard numbers though to quote. However, the Cruise Fuel setting in the chip (allows you to lean out fueling at highway speeds), makes up for it. Remember though... it's a 10 second car, with a higher stall convertor, 72# injectors(!), and ported heads. This is NOT a grocery getter. With that being said, it still got damn close around town mileage as my Durango, and even better on the highway (about 12/16.5mpg average in the Durango).

I drove the car EVERY DAY, to and from work, from March till September. It has seen temperature ranges from 35* to 100* during that time. The only thing I needed to do was initially dial in the cruise fuel settings, and tweak the idle and cold start a little for these major temperature changes. For what this chip setup is designed to do (racing), I couldn't really ask for anything more. :)

P.S. And a side benefit is that there's always the "trick factor" of having a big @ss 4" inlet pipe on the turbo, and straying from the norm by not going to DFI/FAST/etc. (I like doing things different than most) :)

-Banning.
