Yeah I know. That block had been sitting in a guy's garage for 20 years. Didn't look that bad, but one spot of rust in a cylinder wouldn't clean up. After this fiasco, I wanted a block done without any drama. Since I already ordered the .040 Ross custom pistons to stock eliminator specs, that's what the NOS block was bored out to. But it's OK. I still have another.weird ya would have to go 40 over on a low mileage block. Anyway I'd look for another block rather than using a NOS block. NOS would bring a lot of $$.
