today i was in the speed shop work on my turbo motor and i notice that the #1,#2, and #3 main cap from the 97-2003 series II 3800 motor (L67) fits the LC2 block (109) with no modification. i was told the main cap form the L67 is not STEEL but are powder metal. have any body ever look into this? the #4 main cap from the L67 can not be use since the LC2 motor came factory with a rope seal, and the L67 came with a one piece rear main seal.
