why would you twin turbo a ZR1? why wouldn't you just use a C6 or a ZO6?

A local speed shop did that. They pulled the motor did low compression pistions plus whatever else. He made 800 rwhp on 93 octane. He ran 10.40@152. Not sure what his best pass was. He ended up selling the car to someone in Saudi Arabia for $95K. They used the APS turbo kit. The kit was $20K.

No clue. This guy also built a Camaro that I thought did 200MPH in the standing mile with no cage and sold that one too. He is always building new stuff.

Probably for the same reasons you put a single turbo Buick Stage2 V6 in your '67 Firebird. To be different and to go fast!
