Manual Trans fywheel (NA application)

On another board a guy is wanting to pt a manual trans in his Hot Rod. He has a 231 Buick. What are his trans options and what kind of flywheel will he need? Where would he find one?

Not too easy to find. I found an aftermarket one on ebay but haven't seen one in quite awhile. I have a stock type clutch (Camro this, Vega that, etc) and even with moderate pressure plate force it has killed the rear bearing once with very few miles. Another issue he will run into is finding a decent bell housing. I pretty much just race mine and still have an aluminum one. I get nervous every time it comes off the 2 step. I am actually removing mine and putting in a TH-350 for all of the reasons above. It is fun to drive but it is a pain to keep evrything together. I am saving all the parts for a rainy day but not for the Vega; it is getting an auto.
