Manual valve body Q's?????

I've got a couple of questions regarding using a manual valve body in a street aplication. And I have tried the 'search' button, but didn't have much success . First, do they make a manual valve body for the 2004r that doesn't have a trans brake? Second, is it hard on the torque converter to downshift a manual valve body equipped auto while still in motion? Third, is there such an animal as a manual valve body that still has a standard OD auto shifting position, but would be manual in all the other gears? Any help would be great.
