1. is it ok to match weigh them as an assembly or do i need to separate them?
2. what is the tolerance of differences in weight that i should leave them alone and install them back in the engine?

This is NOT a race engine by any means, but i would like to run 22-24 lbs on 110 race fuel.

Normally, one would weigh each end of the rod and grind so that all match up on both ends and do the pistons separately.

I suspect that that matching the entire assemblies would be fine as we have a realtively low rpm engine. Have to be an improvement on just stuffing them in....:)
