Is there going to be a tech session at a hotel again this year like last year? Last year some guys from Fullthrottle, Bob Bailey, TurboTweak and a few others got together and held a tech session on evening at a hotel. I thought it was great and have not been able to find info about it again this year.

Tech Session is known closer to date

In the past, tech sessions or stuff like that are put together closer to the date and usually held on Thursday, kinda like sponsor/vendor advertisement, like a family reunion.

Stop by gsnationals.com schedule aroud April

The last couple years Marianne and I have rented the room, got the panel together and alond with Bob put up lots of big door prizes. Some of the other vendors also put up some very nice prizes, PTE, Big Stuff 3, Lonnie, Razor, TurboTweak, Pats Converters, and more please excuse me if I did not list you by name. While I have enjoyed it very much the reality is that is cost thousands to do and economics say no more. We are still deciding if we will even be able to go this year but at this time it is doubtful due to the high cost of vending at this event. We love it there and have many great memories, this is no slam on the GSCA just the simple numbers that I must live by to survive.

I hear ya on that. Small business's really have to watch the bottom line these days. Are you guys going to any of the other events this year like Columbus?

I am not sure, in the past no other event has created enough sales to justify the cost of going and seting up. The nats is realy the only event that draws as many spectators that buy parts at the event. We will make a decision as the events get closer and we can gauge the participation
