Harnesses that plug into the fan relays are both melted. Any kind of replacement out there? Scrapyard only option to splice into the originals? If so, any other vehicles have the same harness?

Whose fans are you running? My Spal dual fans work great, never a problem.

Wiring looks fine, stock single fan still works, connectors are shot because of the melted plastic. A ground connected to the back of the fan was barely hanging on by a couple of threads. Thinking that may have led to the problem.

Just checked Caspers site, thanks for point in the right direction.

That connector melted because of corrosion/oxidation of the male and female terminals. This results in a high resistance condition (ohms) and in power applications such as this, extreme heat/fire. The connectors thru out these cars were never intended or designed to last 25 years plus. I've used Caspers pigtails on my fan, TPS, coil pack, and ECM.
