Spent a BUNCH more time than needed, to make/finish the LS engine mounts. I guess when one is retired, time is of less importance!
Here's are a couple pics of the pieces. I started w/ some stock, SBC rubber mounts..They looked nasty. So, I cut up the engine plates to a more compact size, got out the scrap, and started w/ a new blade in the band saw.
The pass side head is 1" off of the firewall, in this pic.
The trans x member is also done. Now, moving on to the rear suspension. It needs some serious mods to allow the upper arms to be adjustable. Can't go with the IC being behind the rear bumper!
