This truck has been faster (8.24 @164mph in the 1/4 mile with a 1.24 60' and running 5.29 @130mph in the 1/8 mile) already and should probably easily run in the 7's when it's turned up.

Yeah I believe Dan did build the motor. It's definitely a sweet truck with a top notch build.
