Dont know the specs of the syclone. What kinda mileage do these trucks get "stock"?

17mpg highway was on the window sticker. I bought mine in Ft Lauderdale and drove it home 1080 miles and got.............17 mpg! Kind of crazy when my GN(with lots more hp) got 26 mpg on its trip home:cool:

Guess its a really heavy truck. Do you know the mileage for the Typhoon? Lookin at both.

about 3500lbs if I rememebr correctly. The all-wheel-drive eats up some mpg as well as the "shape". I believe the Ty is about the same, no major difference in mpg. You would think they would do a litle better:confused: But,,,,, I love my Sy!

Thanks for the info

I was reading some specs. 250 lbs cargo capacity. Is that correct??? I cant even put a fat person in the bed?

A stock Sy weighs about 3600 lbs, a stock Ty about 3900. I get about 20 mpg in my Sy highway if I stay out of boost and have gotten as much as 22. My Ty gets 13-15 no matter what. I haven't been able to figure out why they are so different. Total carry capacity for a Sy is 500 lbs including driver and passenger.

so a motorcycle in the bed and an atc trailer hitched up is out of the question???

You'd probably 200 lbs over the limit allowed, but stay out of the boost and I'd imagine you'd be fine. Funny reading about towing on syty.net. Towing heavy loads with an S-10 is not fun though, more like white knuckle driving the entire time.
