Ok, I just recently changed my plugs and wires on my '83 hurst and now it seems to missfire at low rpm's. It seems to idle fine at about 650rpm but as soon as you touch the gas it starts to miss till about 1800 - 2000 rpm. It runs fine on the highway at cruising speed (2400rpm). I also just changed the fuel filter too. Any ideas as to what has happened. The car ran perfect before I changed everything. Thanks in advance!

Maybe you got 2 wires in the incorrect spots?
did you do them one at a time, did you check to see if ALL the boots are seated? Some can be a pain in that car

Thanks for the quick reply! Well, turns out I didn't have the plugs gapped near enough so I regapped them. Also, when i took the last spark plug out, it turns out that i cracked the insulation around the plug. So, i replaced it with one of my old ones for now, fired her up and she runs like a dream now. Now its time to take the tops off and go for a cruise, lol. Thanks!
