I bought a kit for my 2004r from Dana at pro built automatics, which included a transgo shift kit. The kit is just the standard shift kit that he upgraded to the HD2 standards (I think what he just did was add a few springs and he modified the instructions such has drilling holes to a larger size etc.).
After reading on this sight it seems clear that chris's kit is the best kit around. And then PTS's and maybe transgo's is next. So I researched this a lot and it seems people dont like how transgo does the accumulators or whichever.
So what I did was buy CK's separator plate, a performance pump by him, a 700r4 accumulator spring, and Im going to block the 1-2 accum. as mentioned in CK's book. Will I be ok mixing it up like this and using the transgo stuff in the valve body? Also what if I add in a 3rd gear correction kit. Would this screw things up?
Chris? Anyone? What do you guys think I should do.
