MN has "GNX" series license plates on cars...

saw a car sitting at Taco Bell in Alexandria, MN last night that had "743 GNX" on it's license plates... this means that in one region of the state, there are going to be 999 cars and trucks running around with "GNX" on their license plates for the next 7 years (that's how often they make you get new ones here...)..

not that this is really important or anything, but thought it was interesting, and it's something to look for if you see a car in a junkyard with MN plates on it...

A friend of mine has GNX tags on her Honda. Talk about a mismatch.

I have seen the sequence before on TX plates along with some random numbers, don't remember what they were. it did look odd but just a coincidence.
