modifying a stock turbo

My turbo is stock. Is there any mods that are worth while doing that I can do on my own? I have access to air grinders/buffers if there are any little tricks that need to be done.

You can port out your exhaust elbow and smooth it with a die grinder....you probably won't feel the gain but it will help... every little bit helps
