Whats the diff. in a bank MO. and a Postal MO.

But I sent one to a member for some parts and he said
he prefered postal MO. I just wondered why or what the diff. was

The reason I always ask for a postal MO is because it's good anywhere anytime no questions asked, not to mention I'm always in the post office.

I always ask for a postal MO or paypal, but if you wanted to do something different all you had to do was talk to me about it.

Not that it matters it's all good anyway, I'm shipping them today.

I prefer PMO myself as I feel the everyone has a PO some place fairly close and you know who to see if there is a problem. Where as some people pick them up at a 7/11 type store and you have never heard of the place the MO is drawn on and who knows how long that outfit my be around, my luck they would go out of business before I cashed it.

We can also get USPS International money orders (up to $700) that can be cashed at your post office.They cost more than USPS domestic money orders,i think they are $3.85

If i dont get a Postal MO myself, i delay the shipping till i get my the cash in hand. I dont go to the bank much either so they are forced to wait till its convenient to me to cash their other form of payment. Bank checks are pretty much no different than a personal check to me unless its a major US bank and can easily be cashed there. Too easy to make a counterfeit. Ive never heard of anyone getting porked on a US Postal MO. Heard of plenty of problems with other forms of payment. You can cash Postal MO's at any PO also which makes them that much more convenient.

I have use Western Union money orders in the past as form of payment, here's the kicker if one ever gets lost in the mail you'll lose about $30 of it's value plus will have to jump through hoops to get a refund. I'm ok with them as form of payment, prefer USPS mo's BUT never again will I use them for payment.
