Monroe or Gabriel shocks?

Simple question. Which shocks do you guys prefer? The Gabriel Ultra shocks or the Monroe Sensa-trac?

Wells is right...I have had Bilstiens and Gabriel Ultras. Go for the Bilstiens. Don't cheap out with the ultras, as you will be buying the Bilstiens later (expereince talking here).

I had one of the first set of Monroe Formula GP's when they came out. They were as good as the bilsteins and warranted for life. Well after 10 years the Monroe's started leaking and the warranty replacement was sensa-tracs since the FormulaGP's were no longer in production. They are soft and spongy and had little rebound control.

You get what you pay for in shocks try the edlerbrocks they are nice

Bilstiens, but,,,

The engineering in the Gabriel shocks, (their version of sensatracs, i think they are X2's,) are more advanced than the Sensatracs. I have sold and installed both in the past. The Gabriel's have a better ride and preform better.
