Hello GN buddys anybody out here tried the monster in abox rebuild kit for the 2004r?I have had many problems with my trans very bad over lapping where I have to let off gas too shift an when I'm trying to go its like I'm towing a train have a boss hog torque convert 2800stall no valvebody work trans cooler only up grade is tork any insight would help thanks 1FaStGN
 
I see their kit uses a Kevlar band. From what I have been reading everyone recommends an Alto Red Wide band with billet anchor pin. CK performance seems to have the kit with the Alto wide band and alto red frictions.

I don't think you could go wrong calling Chris at CK.

I got one of those monsters in a box but it wasnt for the 2004r.
My kit was for a 4L60E on my 97 Tahoe and it came with everything from the wiring,solenoids 5 pinion planetarys and all.Great kits! RUDE DOG
 
Sweet rude dawg well I bought it so let's see what she does married her up to a 2800-3200 boss hog torque converter let u know how it all turns out next is the hot air 85
