I want to keep the regal dash but I want monte carlo gauges. Can the whole housing with the gauges, ac vent and idiot lights swap over and fit onto the regal dash? The regal dash is an '86.

Should bolt right up, I put an '84 GN dash in my '81 Elky, the elky has the same dash as a Monte, but this one was in horrible shape. Only issue I ran into was the vent on the drivers side, I don't have the correct piece so I don't get an AC out on that side. Not sure about the wiring, you'd probably have to cut and splice some...

Of course I couldn't add a dash cluster that only had a speedometer and a fuel gauge:rolleyes:

Oh wait, I see you want to just add the cluster from the Monte? Onto the regal dash? Don't think it's possible, you'd have to swap the whole thing, the actual "pod" isn't the same size...

Oh, alright thats what I was kind of thinking. I actually think I might do aftermarket gauges. What you did looks pretty cool. Can you buy just that aluminum piece for the gauges?

I found someplace on line that sells metal, and bought a sheet of aluminum, used a jigsaw, hacksaw and holesaw to come up with that, took quite a while. It may not look as great as an actual GNX dash, but it was FAR cheaper;) Wife talked me out of having it powdercoated to match the paint.
