Monte Carlo SS side mirrors

Do they just bolt on? They look a heck of a lot cooler than the Regal mirrors. As soon as the first snow hits the Regal is getting a full body resto and Ive been looking for subtle body mods to make it stand out a bit.

First off, I'm assuming you're talking about the pointy shaped mirrors. Not the tear drop Regal style.

I'm pretty sure they do line up. My father has an 86 SS and we just took the mirror out so the door could be painted. While it was out, I was looking at the 'bolt pattern' and it appears to be the same as Regals. There was a turbo Regal for sale, not too long back that had these mirrors. Was on ebay.

They are the same bolt pattern & will fit on the door just make sure you get the gaskets with them.Your old mirror gasket is larger so if you had a repaint hope the mirrors were removed.

Next thing to take into consideration is that these mirrors were slid forward on the SS doors by about 6". To get the proper function from the mirrors they should go forward in the door.
Since you noted your getting a full resto this would be the time to do it.
