UPDATE !!!!!
Well gents, it seems that the light at the end of the tunnel has finally come.
Got a new cam sensor - showed the mechanic how to set it - and she fired up.
I am so relieved after all that hassle - 1 year of project start till now.
Body shop Monday...then I'll post lots of pics.
