more converter questions

i've recently had problems with my vigilante (for those who dont already know :biggrin: ) can only get about 2200 stall at 0 boost. so today i pulled it out to send back to precision and put the stock converter back in. i get about 1900 stall at 0 boost with the stock converter. ok, whats weird is it seems to spool much faster with the stock converter:eek: my turbo and cam both recomend a 3200 stall. any ideas?
 
maybe the vigilante was defective or needed a rebuild. do you plan on putting the vigilant back in after you get it back from precision?
 
in what manner are you determining your stated stall speed

transbrake ?
footbraked and driving thru brakes ?
flashing the converter ?
