wondering if anyone has ever moved there drivers seat back, i am 6,7" needing a little more leg room and was just wondering if anyone had any good ideas of the best way to reposition the drivers seat back about 3in without drilling or destroying anything original or at least the least destructive way to do it. thanks.

Does your car have power seats? My Limited has power seats and I am able to adjust the seat so it is much more comfortable than the seats in my GN. BTW, my Limited has GN seats and I am 6'6". Maybe you can find some power seat tracks for your seats.

opps i forgot to mention my seats are manuel, one of the reasons i picked this car is because i knew at some point i knew i would want to do this and i thought it would be easier with the manuel seats. thanks for the reply

With power seats, you can tilt the seat bottoms toward the floor and pick up a few more inches of legroom !!!

I slotted the holes in the seat to get an extra 1/2"......I also cut 3/4" out of the height of the track, welded it back together, and got extra headroom.......made a helluva difference.

Im 6'6" myself and about to redo my interior and on the fence whether too get a whole different set of seats(corbeau, etc) due to the head/leg room issue.
Was going to get my bud that does interiors to redo the newer seat in the GN pattern but done in tweed w/o the piping.

I'm 6'6" 280lbs, I installed the bucket seats w/ a manual track first time and my head was damn near rubbing on headliner. I installed the power track assembly from my old bench (60/40) setup, and it is much better, still not perfect.

Seat Track

I Purchased A Power Seat Track From A Cad Cimmeron (mostly Alum) I Made 4 Extensions To Move The Seat Back 2-3 Inches. This Track Assy Is More Narrow Than A Regular Gn. I Fabricated Floor Brackets, with Welded On Studs So The Assy Would Be Bolt On. Took Me 4 Or 5 Hrs Of Pissin Around But It Worked Out Fine. My Friend (a Local Gn Guy) Is A "big Boy" He Wants My Seat Track Now...guess I'll Have To Make Him One Now...good Luck, more Leg Room Is Possible.....
