more of the same....trans not shifting correct

after taking the car to the shop that rebuilt the trans they"adjusted it" and said it was working correctly after driving it in my opinion it's not right what can i do ??? heres the problem.....does not shift into OD until 65mph or after 40 if i let my foot off the gas and goes into lockupright after shifting into overdrive was told that they replaced the lockup sol. and they gave me the old one how do you test to see if it is good?? also now has no third gear braking and sometimes gets second gear starts...was stacking shifts but adjusting the tv cable got the shifts in order except for the overdrive................................................. trans was rebuilt with upgraded pump and shift kit and has about 3k miles on it shifts are firm fluid is clean.......

You'll just need to go back to the shop and argue your point that the transmission still has some issues. They ought to be smart enough to know that overdrive needs to come in before 65 mph.

If you don't have manual third engine braking either, there should be no question that the transmission isn't right.

i called them on the phone and talked to another person about what it was doing and he said to bring it to them i said that i already did and he said the obviously missed something but they had the car for 5 hours the first time. he said that if i leave the car with them they will get it right.....but they are 120 miles from me and before i went through that again of getting there and throwing away a day for nothing i want to makesurethat there wasn't something that i could do just in case so i thought i would try here so if any ideas it would be helpfull if not then i guess i have to fight them again
