more times

well i want to the track again to get some more times, i fixed one leak out of the three it had. These are the problems i had today, leaks in the headers [ can hear them over the exhuast], not tuned[ scan tool broke] , down pipe bolts stipped out so the deata gate would not to good because of the bad seal at the turbo[ happened on the 3 run.

I ran 20-22 psi with only about 4 gals of cam2 in the car, my gas gauge is broke and ran out of gas when i left the track . Ran the et streets at 17psi and could not get them to stop wheel spin , at 10-12psi they would bite up but could only build 7 psi at the light before they broke lose.

there was about 4 more 12.50 runs and 1--- 12.6 run because of braking at the end [leaned out-back fire] . I dont know how much the header leaks will help me pick up when fixed but i will find out when i get rid of these hooker headers and get some atrs.

i wish i could fix the headers , iam pretty sure with a little higher boost and them fixed i can get that 11.99.9 with out a race chip

bone stock heads

these times can be hit with a smaller combo if this is about the times your looking for. I want 12.65@108.5 with a stock intake and ta33, spearco intercooler and 206 cam, stock headers and all. Hope this helps ya out thomas_quinn.

peterkin this 49 is just what i needed with the stock heads, that 54 is to big for my little hotair see ya at the track soon iam sure

looks like we are both looking for that 11sec run but i need some headers first, looks like your get there first.

i like the intake but really havent needed it yet , i ran close to these time and speed with a bone stock intake no porting or any thing, i think iam at the point were i will start to be glad i have it.

turbo6x2, if i could get my 60' done like your i would be real happy.

Good times. I still stand by my claim that your car will see 11s on it's current setup. Get it tuned and the problems fixed. I bet you have another 3-5mph left in it. You HAVE to run 11s with that combo since it's close to what I was running and I'll never have the chance to back up my car could've gone easy 11s.

Well i got my headers off and they have some bad cracks in both headers, so when i weld them up i think it will help my times get alot better. Another thing is that i watched the tape of my races at the track and the 12.3 pass i had tire spin in 1st and very little in 2nd. By the end of the day i found that it would spin very little with a big burn out and 10-12psi in the tires, by then my down pipe was lose so the waste gate would not work. This was also on a 75-85* day.

what can i do to get this pig to stop spinning

Very good 1/4 mile times dawg. As soon as you get your exhaust leaks fixed and the car tunes, you'll easily get your mph times right up!!
