What's the part # APR? I took my only bolt to every parts store, couldn't match it. I want to put my oil pan gasket on and finish up already, Thanks

skip the parts stores and find a good hardware store. if there is a Fastenal store in your area, go there.

hardware? Those bolts can take the stress? The guy at the hardware shop told me he had nothing for automotive. good name store also

Im thinking of just going again today and looking or .........order http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...0429547298&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK:MEWAX:IT this and wait, i wouldn't know the length would be right or not tho. I also want to finish up due to the fact I got a shop body&paint speical ends soon. I want to take my car in for body and paint, only thing holding me back is the bolts. weird that nobody had those bolts, either to long or to short.

Yep

Local hardware store will work fine, just get grade 8 bolts and yor good. The mounts rubber will flex way before the bolts will ever break, besides it will be more for gas then you will pay for them. Good luck with your porject.

I gotta agree on the grade 8 hardware, thats whats on my mounts, and shock mounts too and probably a few other things that I don't even know about that were replaced. grade 8 takes a beating, and camfreek's right the rubbers will let go before the grade 8 stuff does.

bolts are bolts, as long as they are the proper grade they will work.
i put the entire front end of my 71 Nova together using grade 8 bolts, nuts, and washers that i bought by the pound at a place called Mills Fleet Farm. they cater primarily to farmers, and all the hardware to bolt the front suspension to the frame and the frame to the body cost me about $10.

I had went to get the bolts, closed!, oh well

good enough for me. Will get them in the morning.

I Did notice my Trans mount was mest up, Hate to post another thread about same guy,, same car, so

Solid mount? poly? part # hate to be a drag with all these questions, but what better place to ask:rolleyes:

Stock mount

Just get a stock mount for it. If you have poly motor mounts then get a ploy trans mount, if not just get a regular mount for it from any auto store, should be less the $15 anywhere you go.

Also you can NOT use a solid transmission mount if you do not have Solid mototr mounts, If you do kiss your trans goodbye;) It will snap the casing right off at the rear:eek:

If you have solid motor mounts then you must use a solid trans mount, but I doubt you do. I have never reall seen them on the market much nor looked for them. I have a Camaro with soild mounts and it rattle the teath out of my head, not good for the streeet:mad:
