 really a class act statement about your fellow club members.

dont take offence because of my hot air statement, im just saying that hot airs in general are slower then intercooled gns and ragged out stock intercooled gns arent really up to par performance wise eather. i know there are exceptions and your car sounds like one of them but for the most part they are not really that fast, its not a personal blow to my fellow club members, its the truth.

not everyone who owns a GN keeps it up and races it or knows it's fast...i have seen some people that just drive it for transportation and that's it...they don't even know they have a turbo:rolleyes: so i believe it...but look at it this way, i think there's more people out there that give our cars respect regardless how fast it is...they were only high 13 to low 14 second cars factory which was really fast back in the 80's but everything nowadays can run that...about 50% of the family cars out now can stomp a stock TR...just gotta step up and MOD:cool:

Actually it looks like someone needs to become a member of the club and learn how to tune a GN. Hot or cold air, either one can run 15's with someone who doesn't know what they are doing..................Nuff said

Judging by the described shape of the car (very good) and the slow-azzed speed (lost to MSP) and cocky attitude of the kids, I'd say one of them probably had daddy's car out for a cruise, and daddy had the good sense to turn it down to about 8psi or so beforehand. Wait, even that would probably walk an MSP. Maybe 4psi, just enough to hear it, but certainly not a lot of power.

I like those MSPs a lot, but still with the Neon SRT coming out, even in the sport compact scene they're very apt to LUZE.

whew

Am just glad there wasn't a picture of my car getting dusted by one of the many ricers that toasted me last tuesday. First time to the track, and needless to say it wasn't running right. Knocking and floating the valve springs.....I'd check the value of our cars again to see if they dropped after some of those runs. Gotta get some new main bearings in tommorrow and redeem myself this week.

LOL! don't feel bad...the only time i went to the track this year i made my first and only pass...valves started floating halfway down the track and had to coast to a 14.7 @ 70 mph and i still beat a 2nd gen trans am that went 15.5:confused:
