My local track paid to bring in a drag challenge chassis dyno for publicity. This is a trailer with two mustang dynos side by side. You actually run the car through an 1/8th or 1/4 mile on the dyno. Anyways the track manager asked me to bring the car & I did. Somehow the thing was way out of calibration or something because my car ran 5.40 at 132.55:eek: that would be great. Unfortunately the fastest it has really been is 6.20's at 111. This was also in 95 degree heat. I know I have heard that mustang dynos give lower readings than dynojets & this was the opposite of what I expected. I only ran it once (they didn't have a fan) & I wasn't about to run it again starting at 200 degrees. Plus the guy next to me started smoking the tires & blew them both ripping up his quarter panels & destroying the plates on the top of the dyno:eek: . Still was fun. Anyone have experience with these things? Or do you think I picked up 20+ mph in the high temps:D
